16 complaints resolved in grievance redressal event in Bokaro

Bokaro witnessed a successful "Public Grievance Resolution Program" on Tuesday organized under the directive of the Director General of Police. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between the police and citizens, addressing complaints swiftly and efficiently. The event was held at four key locations: IIT-IOCL Campus, Pindrajora; DMPS High School, Chandrapura; Central School, Sijua, Marafari; and Sector-2 D Kala Kendra, Bokaro.   Notably various complaints, including women-related issues, land disputes, cyber crimes, and theft, were addressed during the program. Legal experts from the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and officers from Womens and Cyber Police stations provided guidance and raised awareness about citizens rights.   In total, 205 complaints were lodged, with 117 falling under miscellaneous issues, 69 concerning land disputes, and 10 women-related cases. By the end of the program, 16 complaints were resolved on the spot, showcasing the polices commitment to resolving public grievances and fostering trust with the community.
